Why I coach
In my primary school diary I wrote that I liked to move a lot. Movement has been with me ever since, and it taught me how much it does for the mind as well as the body.
The work I did on myself through training made me want to understand it better and to pass it on. I started working in fitness at eighteen, and I have never stopped studying, because in this field you never stop learning.
I have always been someone who listens. I like getting to know the person in front of me, because to help someone you first have to understand them. I believe each of us has a task, and mine is to help people live more consciously.
The part I value most is the small steps more than the final win: reaching the goal of a single session, taking one more step towards the big one. A path starts somewhere and climbs gradually, and I like watching it grow.
How I coach
Professional, detailed and personal. I do not use standard programmes or the guidelines you find on social media. Every plan starts with the person in front of me: your goals, your level, your training history and what your week really looks like.
I teach you to move in the way that is most efficient for you, and I explain the why behind the work. I am demanding and understanding at the same time, because life is not easy for anyone and I take that into account.
I do not leave you on your own. I care about you as a person, not only about the result, and I prefer a path to a one-month programme. The aim is that the habits stay with you, even when I am no longer your coach.
From science to practice.
Science is my reference point. I did not always think so: studying taught me that training cannot rest on trends or on what someone online says. Behind every study there is long, careful work, so I read, I keep up to date and I bring the evidence to my clients.
My experience comes from years of working with real clients who need different things, from working alongside highly skilled trainers, and from my degree and recent courses, which gave me firmer foundations in physiology and biomechanics and taught me to put them together.
